727 Jumps

I was on the first DC-9 load on Wednesday. It was just as awesome as I remember from my jumps out of it nineteen years ago!  Sixty jumpers exiting single file on one pass.  135 knots exit speed. One of the coolest parts is they left the original seats in the airplane, so it’s like taking a regular commercial flight except everyone is wearing rigs. Almost everyone made it back to the main landing area by pulling slightly higher than usual.  It’s flying again this weekend, and it should be available a couple more times this summer.  Don’t miss out…civilian jet jumps are as rare as a unicorn.
