e.a.hernandez 0 #1 Posted September 25, 2020 Hey, i have this 10 years old Solo II audible altimeter that has lately been powering off intermittently. I changed the batteries and cleaned the contacts and was still doing it. I get the impression it may be the metal in the cover loosing spring from age but not sure. Have you had this issue with the Solo II before. It is 10 years old so that might be it. It has served me well and i want to keep it going. I use two audibles (2nd one is a brand new Optima II) so not too concerned safety wise. I may just give up and replace it . Any thoughts?
