JoeWeber 2,651 #1 Posted June 15, 2020 (edited) I'm a DZO with two Short Caravans, one an 850HP Supervan and the other is a standard 675HP Caravan. I'm trying to sort out how many US DZ's have normal Short Caravans for a project I'm working on. Any help will be appreciated. mbohu 77 #2 June 15, 2020 I'm not a DZO or airplane expert, so I'm not sure what the definition of a "short" Caravan is, but Orange Skies Skydiving in Colorado is flying this one:

That's a Standard Caravan with the Texas Turbines 900HP -12JR Conversion. The tells are the Chrome Collar on the air intake and the very round exhaust. Well, also that it climbs like crazy.
fredmm 0 #4 June 29, 2020 I think Skydive West Plains (aka the Ritz) near Spokane runs one.
pchapman 278 #5 June 30, 2020 Non-US DZ but US registered Caravan: Skydive Burnaby, Ontario Canada. N806JA. (Yes it is a short Caravan, not a Grand Caravan.)
Unstable 9 #6 July 13, 2020 Start Skydiving (John Hart's DZ) runs a Short Caravan and they used to have a 208B but I believe they sold the latter. We leased the short caravan of theirs for boogies in the past. https://startskydiving.com/facilities-aircraft/
