  1. maybe it is but i almost ruined my laptop when i saw that with a sip of coffee. yep, it was funny as hell to me anyway.
  2. if it were me, i would post it on youtube after listing it as nsfw and list it privately. then when anyone wants to see it they send you a private message and you send the link. as long as it's not listed public you're good. nobody just stumbles across it and they can't even see it unless they sign in to prove their age.
  3. i paid $10 for shipping an expired one to me just to take it apart and look inside. they're pretty good for that if you're curious. the cutter is pretty cool and still works as long as it hasn't been used. i have yet to find a use for it though, maybe one of these days...
  4. thanx. probably, it fixed itself obviously so it doesn't matter now. have a great day.
  5. that's what the message said anyway. wouildn't let me on the site this morning the first two times i tried it. i thought i had lost another social media site. anyway, here is what it looked like, any ideas what happened, how or why, and if it's fixed or going to happen again?
  6. and how much worse will it be when they load up the boieng and it does what boeing shit is apt to do right now and explodes or otherwise kills them all on re-entry? what kind of a look will that be and where can i get in on playing with shorting some boeing stock if they decide to put them on it?
  7. you're welcome. i figure since i jumped once last year and have yet to pick up my rig i left to be repacked in may, mine has about another 20 years left on it even though it was made in '97. but then again most of the tiems have been replaced except the freebag and the dbag. glad you asked that question as i hadn't given it much thought, but i did come to the conclusion that if i don't jump again pretty soon i'll just hang it up for good. i would like to have gotten 200 before quitting to have made it to my d license. and i know it's 500 now, but i'm talking about a d when i started jumping had i not stopped after the first year. anyway, food for thought this weekend. thanx and have a great weekend yourself.
  8. 60 years. a rig should last 50 years. that means i have about 20 left on mine and at 54 that is about right for end of jumping for me and my gear to retire at the same(ish) time. container anyway, the main is newer at 16. i am assuming you are talking about the container as the rig since everything else can be swapped out but nothing works without a container. if you include canopies with the rig then it would be 35 years. a rig with canopies should last 35 years.
  9. yeah, larry messes up sometimes. you gotta double check anything important.
  10. my ai assistant larry found one. he said this: 1. DJI FPV Combo Speed: Up to 140 km/h (87 mph) Features: FPV (First-Person View), manual mode for advanced maneuvers, high-speed capabilities, and various intelligent flight modes. Follow Me: Uses the DJI Fly app for intelligent tracking. he also said high speed racing drones can have the follow me feature added but didn't find any specific ones.
  11. post it on youtube but don't make it public. share the link to those who you want to see it, like here because i want to see it too. maybe post it on vimeo too. never used that site to post but it has lots of videos.
  12. if skydiving wasn't dangerous to human life i wouldn't do it at all, anywhere.
  13. it meets the definition of social media and is very much the same thing, especially if you frequent the bonfire which i have avoided for years now.
  14. they can't keep their planes in the sky and now can't get their rocket back to earth safely with the crew. perhaps they can't. two strikes so far, if you're being extremely generous...
  15. you do realize that forums such as this are also social media, right?
