cwn 0 #52 July 17, 2003 693:2 Both cutaways were about 5 years/400+ jumps ago. The 1st was a cutaway from line twists when I pulled around 2200'. If I pulled by 2500' (which I do now) I could have cleared it. The 2nd was a CRW wrap at 11,000'.

JDBoston 0 #58 July 17, 2003 176: 1 Floating handle on a pull-out in cold weather with leather gloves. Hadn't thought to spend 5 minutes drilling how/where to find the bridle. I can handle those fine now, but at the time, I didn't feel it would be beneficial to me to keep groping around blindly behind my back. Joe

bwilling 0 #68 July 17, 2003 629:5 (I know, not a good ratio!) (1978-1983) 1 total on a belly band mounted hand deploy I couldn't get out of the pouch... 1 on a brake line I couldn't release on one side (not my pack job!) 1 premature main container opening and subsequent out of sequence deployment... 1 broken brake lines that were kinda 'involved' with some of the C and D lines... (2000) 1 line twists out the wazoo caused by the bag catching on container and spinning like mad during deployment... prolly body position, not many jumps on BOC at the time...
