Yep thats right my first year in this sport is over. It has been awesome. I just want to thank all the people I've had the oppertunity to meet in Eloy, Perris, San Diego, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and of course Alaska, for all the great memories. Hey I am living in one of those trailers. And its great. I take my house to whereever I want to jump, hang out as long as I want then move on to the next dz. And I dont have to worry about driving home after the end of the jump day beers. All in all I wouldn't want it any other way. I have to say I agree with all those who say vou've got to put yourself first. I think the main thing is just to travel down your own road, and hope you find someone going in the same direction. I hear alot of talk about comprimise. The only thing I can say about that is BE CAREFUL. After five years in a relationship I woke up and realized I had comprimised myself into something I was'nt. No one thing was huge, but so many small things really pile up. (Says in southern accent) That's all I have to say about that. Congrats on your first jump. On the waiting thing, you should check into going to the Canadian-Alaskan invasion. I now a couple people from Alaska went there to finish up their training, and your home DZ is one of the sponsers. Whats not to enjoy about freeflyin. I also travel around, and being the low timer/turkey/whatever that I am I do alot of solo jumps at first, and belly flyin by yourself is not near as much fun to me as freeflyin by myself "A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"

Just finished up my A license. Took a few more jumps than necessary, but hell learning is way to much fun so who cares. Just thought I would get on here and say hi. I am going to be traveling around the country alot this winter jumping, so hopefully I'll get a chance to meet and hang with some of you.
