It wasn't supposed to be a tandem. The winds were just really high, but i wanted to jump really badly too, so they let me do a tandem but still do everything I would have normally done if I wasn't attached to someone. "Do the thing you fear and fear will disappear"

Well so far I've only done the one Tandem, but there is definitely no comparison! Free Falling is the most amazing thing I've ever experienced up to this point in my life! I can't wait to do more! I am scheduled to do my next jump this weekend but it looks like it's going to get rained out :( I hope not though! "Do the thing you fear and fear will disappear"

Just checkin in to say hey and post a little info! I got out of the military last year with about 40 static line jumps. A few days ago I started AFF with Free Fall Express in Mount Vernon, Mo! Everyone there was awesome and I can't wait to do my next jumps this weekend! Anyway, hey to everyone :) "Do the thing you fear and fear will disappear"

I went to FFE to do AFF but the winds were way above 14. They let me do the ground training anyway and Penny was a great instructor! I felt pretty secure in that if something went wrong I would know what to do! Although the winds were so high I still wanted to jump so they strapped me to Justice for a Tandem. He was awesome and explained exactly what we would be doing and how it was different from AFF. Since it was my first non static-line jump I decided to have it videoed. Fletch made an awesome vid in a really short time with music that was perfect for the seen. The pictures turned out great as well! The landing was nice but the wind caught our chute a little. Hopefully Justice can still have kids (sorry bro!) Overall I had the best time of my life and felt safe doing so. I'll practice what I learned and will be back out to the same DZ next week for some more! Thanks FFE!
