The Swift is the product of a long and focused development process, and is perhaps the most versatile wingsuit in our range. Although its primary purpose is to be a beginner suit for talented new wingsuit flyers in the skydive and BASE environment, its capabilities are not limited to beginner flying. Our mission for the Swift was to create a suit that was forgiving enough to be flown in an arched "box-man" position, but with enough performance range to jump a wide variety of objects in the wingsuit BASE environment, and to flock comfortably in the skydive environment. This is a suit that is simple enough to put your first jumps on, and yet you will never outgrow it - even when you move up to a larger, high-performance suit, you will still want to keep your Swift around for acro, backflying, or just some high-speed cloud-carving with your friends. The Swift is designed for talented beginners and experienced pilots of all abilities. Back-fly inlets are offered as an option, making the Swift a fun and agile suit for freestyle flying and steeper, more advanced, formations.

The EPICENE is specifically designed to deliver consistent and reliable openings while wingsuit skydiving. For us, this parachute has been a game-changer, and is now overwhelmingly the parachute of choice for the world's best wingsuit pilots. The EPICENE is based on the same design tenets that make BASE jumping canopies reliable. Released in 2014, it now has a proven track record and has gained a reputation for the best openings in wingsuit skydiving, period. A common sensation during the opening process of many parachutes is the stage when the parachute seems to be "searching" for the final heading that it will settle on. The EPICENE opens with minimal yaw-axis search, and delivers the most consistent heading performance of any parachute we have tested. We believe the EPICENE concept is the future of wingsuit skydive parachute design, and some of the world's best skydivers agree: Andy Farrington, Noah Bahnson, Mike Swanson, TJ Landgren, Luke Aikins, Jeffro Provenzano, Katie Hansen, Petter Jönsson, and the Squirrel Team all jump the EPICENE by choice.

Hi all, I hope someone will have the time to give me a piece of advice. A few things about me first as I haven't posted before on this forum : My name : Morad Location : Lille, france Jump numbers : 650, mostly tracking and tracing jumps Wingsuit jumps : 13 on an S-fly Indy I recently discovered the pleasure of wingsuiting. What a thrill ! This feeling of gliding, the jump that seems to last forward even on my small wingsuit... I started with an S-fly indy which is a small wingsuit. I want to invest in what we call a level 2 wingsuit in France. (intermediate). I have my eyes, like many, on a new swift 3 but I found someone selling a funk 1 at my size for half the price of the new swift 3. What would you do ? Would a funk 1 be a good first wingsuit if I up my jumps numbers to 30/40 on the Indy ? Is now a good time to invest in swift 3 or is squirrel about to release a swift 4 ?

The Colugo 2 release was delayed until after the RedBull Aces event, where new technology in this exciting suit made its debut and was tested by Squirrel team pilots. Andy Farrington took first place flying a prototype that included key innovations present in this new design, including leading edge mini-ribs and a new hybrid leading edge construction. The new Colugo 2 is significantly smaller in surface area than its predecessor. It features a new arm wing profile and leg wing design, new planform, and a new type of Dacron coated leading edge construction, with a flexible segment at the wrist. We are very excited about this new suit and the delay in releasing it is a direct result of us having a bit too much fun with the testing, and wanting to push the progress as far as possible before releasing it. The core mission for the Colugo 2 is to provide a fast and agile suit for advanced-intermediate to expert pilots. The Colugo 2 is now available for pre-order. We expect the first orders to ship in late August and early September. Please scroll down for more information.

Over the past year we have had a few requests for a wingsuit that is just ridiculously easy to fly. We get it, we hear you, and we like easy, too. The new HATCH is the easiest and most comfortable suit that we have ever flown. The HATCH retains all of the safety and performance features that Squirrel suits have become renowned for, including the RAD system, tri-layer leading edge construction, innie-outie zips, and reinforced inlets. Thanks to the RAD system, the HATCH requires no cutaway cables and allows direct access to your risers and brakes during and after deployment. This is a critical safety feature that no wingsuit should be without. The HATCH leading edge construction is our signature blend of comfort and performance, with a smooth surface in positions of best glide, and unparalleled comfort and access at pull-time. Although it is basically the easiest wingsuit out there, the HATCH is not just a beginner suit. It’s fun, agile, and versatile. More experienced wingsuit pilots searching for a low-surface area suit for beginner backflying and acrobatics and basic flocking applications will love the range and comfort of the HATCH. For pilots and instructors who are searching for the absolute maximum in ease of use for their first jumps and beyond, the HATCH is the answer.

For skydivers and BASE jumpers, tracking is a crucial step towards wingsuit flying. Whether you plan to move up to a wingsuit, or just hone your tracking skills, the SUMO is the answer. Our mission for this tracking suit was to find the ideal balance between volume and stability, with an emphasis on solid internal pressure and quick inflation. The SUMO has performance that is comparable to one-piece tracking suits, with the comfort and ease of use that is inherent in a simpler 2-piece system. The No-Wobble system secures the pants to your knee area, helping to prevent excess movement in the pants while tracking. This unique feature gives a compact and precise feel in the track, and is very simple to use. It is also optional - the pants can be flown with or without the Velcro fastened. The overall suit volume is balanced, with a slight taper from waist to ankle for ease of handling. The SUMO provides quick starts and excellent forward speed, with simple and intuitive control. The SUMO is built to the same high standard that has made our wingsuits the benchmark for quality in our sport. We look forward to hearing what you think of this exciting new tool, and hope that you enjoy flying it as much as we have enjoyed developing it. Please remember that as with all BASE jumping equipment, it is extremely important to skydive the SUMO extensively before attempting to use it for BASE jumping.

The FUNK is our all-around-acro-freestyle-flocking-fun-relaxed-sporty-skydive-wingsuit-thingy. Actually, we're pretty confident that you can tell what this thing is for just by looking at it. In a nutshell, it's our go-to suit for fun-flying in the skydive environment: the FUNK does it all. This is our answer to the many pilots who have been asking us for a suit that fits in the range between the SWIFT and COLUGO. The FUNK has been in development since before the SWIFT launched, and during its evolution we gradually fine-tuned the internal pressure, profile thickness, and stance. We have arrived at a planform that yields a balanced and stable feel while back-flying; many of our test pilots have remarked that it is almost absurdly stable on its back. One of our tasks during development was finding a good balance between stability in belly / backfly positions, while maintaining ease of transition. We think that we have found an excellent compromise, and the FUNK features an extra-long arm-wing zip which allows pilots to tailor the internal pressure to their style of flying. The FUNK's planform necessitates a long and diagonally swept trailing edge on the arm wing, which presents a large opportunity for turbulation as the airflow disconnects here. For that reason, mini-ribs were deemed necessary in the arm wing, but in the end we decided to increase the total number of arm wing cells. This decreased drag at the trailing edge, of course, but also increased general efficiency of the arm wing. These extra ribs do not increase the wing's rigidity – instead, they create a sharper feel when initiating transitions and banking turns. We're very excited to hear what you think of this new suit. We thoroughly enjoyed the development process and we hope you agree that the FUNK is an awesome platform with great agility, range, and ease of use.

The Aura offers the best balance of high performance glide and agility that we have ever experienced. Our mission for the Aura was to create a suit that will satisfy the glide performance needs of the most demanding wingsuit BASE pilots in the world - jumpers who are pushing the limits of short starts and long glides at new cliffs all over the world, from the French Alps to the American Southwest. After a lengthy development process and extensive testing by Squirrel and our Team Pilots, we are happy to say that the result is even better than we'd hoped; not only do we have a suit which is undeniably at the top of its class in terms of glide, but it has also retained an incredible level of agility and speed range. The Aura is a highly versatile, high performance wingsuit, with the ability to dive down to steep lines or reach the most distant landing areas. We are confident that it will be loved by expert BASE jumpers and skydivers around the world, and we're very excited to hear what you think of it.

The Colugo is our big mountain terrain flying suit for pilots of intermediate to expert ability. This is our most versatile wingsuit, and what we recommend to experienced pilots who are looking for a next generation all-around BASE wingsuit. The Colugo provides solid glide performance, a fast start, high agility for rapid banked turns, and a clean and accessible BOC pull. It is a myth that one suit can be good at every aspect of flying, but the Colugo offers the best balance that we have ever experienced. We designed this suit specifically for pilots who want to carve big mountain proximity lines. The Colugo remains stable and pressurized at a very wide range of angles of attack, and delivers a solid and pressurized precise feel through every section of your flight, from steep dives to long glides. The most common question that we heard this year was, "What other suit is it like?" The answer is that the Colugo was developed specifically for maximum all-around performance in wingsuit BASE. This is our vision of an all-around suit that is ideal for a huge range of BASE jumps and terrain flights, for pilots who want a fast start, high maneuverability, and good glide. It is accessible and easy to use for its size. We've taken the best aspects of the other wingsuits that we have flown in the past, and combined them into the ultimate suit for next-generation BASE jumpers. Simply put, this suit is capable of the shortest starts and the longest glides out there. If you want to ace the short start and fly the complex lines of The Brevent in Chamonix, or fly from the High-Nose to Air Glaciers in Lauterbrunnen, then the Colugo will get you there, and beyond.
